Rowan - Poppy Fields CGI

Poppy Field

Maes Papi / Poppy Field is a small development of six homes set in the rural community of Bwych y Cibau. The village is located on the A490 midway between the towns of Welshpool and Llanfyllin, this means it is also convenient for Oswestry which is just 12 miles to the north. The homes have been carefully designed to blend in with nearby existing dwellings and offer a choice of three and four bedrooms, including bungalows.

Poppy Field will offer a choice of 6 homes including 3 detached bungalows, a large 4 bedroom detached house and a pair of 3 bedroom semi-detached houses. Each is traditionally built with brick or stone external elevations and insulated blockwork internal walls, complimented by industry leading insulation to give maximum thermal efficiency and protection from the elements.

To keep future running costs and the environmental impact to a minimum, a low carbon heating system is installed with solar PV panels and an EV charging point.

Plots 5 & 6 are available to local first time buyers only and may only be used as a main residence, they cannot be used for investment purposes, second homes of holiday lets. Please contact us for details of the application process.

Green living, spacious gardens, and minimal maintenance

Most of the properties have well-proportioned gardens to the front and rear with ample off-road parking on private driveways, ideal for gardeners. The buildings themselves however require very little external maintenance with uPVC windows, soffits, facias and rainwater systems.

At Primesave, we work closely with the local planning department to ensure the homes we build are both fit for purpose but are also appropriate for the communities they will join. We also seek to minimise the environmental impact by retaining the existing natural features where possible and enhancing landscape schemes, by planting native trees and shrubs. Our sustainable drainage schemes are designed to limit surface water runoff, minimising the risk of flooding and pollution.
